I really loved the beautiful, serene accommodations and the private bath experience was an absolute treat! However, the room wasn’t exactly as spacious as the photos suggested, but it was still a great value. Definitely would stay here again!

The staircase is freezing in winter!!! Upper floor taps have no hot water!!! A living area with a sofa would make the space far more inviting!!!

the family suite was a disappointment, especially with the carrying luggage back-and-forth, just absurd. also, the extra bed was so uncomfortable it seemed like a prank. i arrived expecting pampering, at least a welcome gift, but, alas, just the same tired treatment as everyone else. what a letdown, almost gave a good review but just couldn’t!

stylish hotel with great private baths but minor room size issue
The modern-traditional setup of this hotel is impressive! The private onsens available for reservation were a lovely touch. I especially enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the lounge area, perfect for socializing after a long day. We had a beautiful room with a charming river view that made our stay even more memorable.

Awesome staff & comfy stay!
The staff were super friendly, especially Makino san, who helped us a lot and always had a smile on. The room was cozy and had everything we needed. It’s only a short walk to the city center! Just a heads up, the stairs to our room were a bit steep, so pack light.
